Over de bestemming

Een groot deel van het eiland is bebost. De omgeving van de dorpen en Skiathos-stad zijn landbouwgrond. Bossen zijn dennen, en bevinden zich in het zuidoostelijke deel van het eiland. Skopelos Island evenals de meest afgelegen van Euboea en Scyros, zijn zichtbaar in gunstige weersomstandigheden.
