About the destination

The Maldives, situated in the Indian Ocean, consist of an archipelago of 1,192 coral islands arranged into 26 coral atolls. Out of these tiny islands, only 203 are inhabited. Kaafu is the location of the capital, Male, and the airport, and it houses most of the tourist resorts. The Maldives truly live up to their dreamy depiction in vacation brochures.
