Tarangire National Park Tanzania

Tarangire National Park is a national park located in the Manyara Region of Tanzania. The park gets its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it. This river serves as the main source of fresh water for the wildlife in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the yearly dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is characterized by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. During the dry season, thousands of animals from the surrounding areas that are usually dispersed and used for calving, gather in Tarangire National Park.
