Sanlúcar de Barrameda Spain

Sanlúcar de Barrameda (or simply Sanlúcar) is a city in the northwest of Cádiz, situated on the left bank at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, opposite the Doñana National Park. The city center's origins can be traced back to Muslim times, as evidenced by its current appearance, with its narrow, winding streets leading towards the river and the sea. Its most appealing features include its mild climate, the beaches of Bajo de Guía, Calzada, Las Piletas, and La Jara, as well as numerous monuments. These include the 15th-century Santiago Castle; the palace of the Infantes of Orleans and Borbón, which now serves as the City Hall; the church of Nuestra Señora de la O; the palace of the Dukes of Sidonia, which currently houses the municipal archives; and the 16th-century Santo Domingo Convent.
