Bañolas Spain

Bañolas is a beautiful city in the province of Girona in northeastern Catalonia, Spain. Bañolas is most famous for the Lake of Bañolas, a natural lake licated in a tectonic depression. This lake was the venue for the 1992 Olympic Games in rowing mode and the official venue for the World Rowing Championships in 2004. Its historic center is beautiful, from here we highlight its Plaza Mayor, the Llotja del Tint, an old medieval factory, its Wall and the Pia Almoina, current Regional Archaeological Museum.
