Day 1 (18.04.2025) Bucharest – Prague – panoramic city tour included
Meet at Bucharest Otopeni Henri Coanda Airport at 08:15 for a meeting with the Romanian group leader and boarding TAROM flight RO225, departing at 11:15 to Prague. Arrival in Prague at 12:10 local time. Transfer to the city for a panoramic city tour with a local guide. The city fascinates with its charm and major landmarks which we will explore throughout the day: National Museum, National Theatre, Lesser Town, Prague Castle Complex (the largest medieval castle in the world and former residence of the Bohemian kings), the famous St. Vitus Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, Old Town, and Wenceslas Square. We will then reach Old Town with the Old Town Square and Town Hall Tower, the Astronomical Clock, and the pedestrian area with shops and cafés (entrances to landmarks are not included). Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon free for rest or individual visits. Accommodation at Hotel Duo Prague 4* or similar.
Day 2 (19.04.2025) Prague – Dresden, optional day trip
Breakfast. Free time. Optionally, we offer a day trip by coach to Dresden (the capital of the Saxon kings in Germany), where together with the Romanian group leader and a local guide, we will take a walking tour. Dresden is the capital of the Saxony region on the banks of the Elbe River, hence the name "Florence on the Elbe." The Zwinger Palace, Frauenkirche Church, Semper Opera House, the 700-year-old Royal Palace, and the Baroque Cathedral are just a few of the cultural and architectural jewels of this beautiful city. Return to Prague in the afternoon and free time for shopping or individual walks. Accommodation at Hotel Duo Prague 4* or similar.
Day 3 (20.04.2025) Prague – Karlovy Vary, optional day trip. Dinner included!
Breakfast. Free time. Optionally, we recommend a day trip by coach to Karlovy Vary - the most important and oldest spa resort in Western Bohemia, known for its thermal springs as well as porcelain and glass made by local artisans. Walking tour with the Romanian group leader and a local guide: New Spa Museum (showcasing the history of the city), Moser Glass Factory (producing Bohemian glass), Jan Becher Museum (where you can learn the secret of Becherovka, the most famous Czech liqueur). Free time for shopping or individual visits. Return to Prague.
In the evening, we invite you to dinner (with three courses and three drinks included) at a floating restaurant on the Vltava River (transport to/from the restaurant is by public transport and metro. Transport is not included and will be paid individually on site). After dinner, accommodation at Hotel Duo Prague 4* or similar.
Day 4 (21.04.2025) Prague - Bucharest
Breakfast. Check-out. Transfer from the hotel to the airport for boarding TAROM flight RO226, departing to Bucharest at 09:30 local time. Arrival at Otopeni-Henri Coanda at 12:20 local time.
