Christmas in Lapland, the Land of Santa Claus

On the morning of December 22nd, you will meet the agency representatives at Henri Coandă Airport (Otopeni), from where you will board the charter flight to Santa Claus’s enchanted land: Lapland.

Right from the start, small surprises will bring smiles to your faces and offer hints of the magic that lies ahead.

Day 1 – December 22, 2025: Arrival in the Land of Wonders

Upon arrival at the airport in Lapland, you will be welcomed by the local representative, who will escort you to the Levi resort – a winter wonderland village located just 30 km from the airport. At the hotel, your magical winter gear will be waiting for you: thick snowsuits, warm boots, hats, and gloves – everything you need to enjoy the fluffy snow and the crisp northern air.

In the evening, after check-in, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. And then... the magic continues.

An Early Adventure: Snowmobile Safari (optional)

For the brave and thrill-seeking, the evening brings an unforgettable experience: the Snowmobile Safari. After receiving all the necessary instructions, you’ll head out into the snow-covered forest and over frozen lakes – an adventure that will take your breath away, both literally and figuratively. Halfway through, you’ll pause for a warm and sweet break: hot fruit juice and laughter around the fire. At the end, snacks and a warm drink by the gentle light of the flames – a fairy-tale evening that neither children nor parents will ever forget.

Day 2 – December 23, 2025: Optional Excursions

After breakfast, the day is yours! You can spend it skiing, relaxing, or – for those eager to explore more – joining one of the optional excursions that complete the fairytale atmosphere of Lapland.

Reindeer Farm Safari – In the Heart of Nordic Traditions

Travel by coach to an authentic reindeer farm, where you’ll discover a central part of life in Lapland. Reindeer herding is not just a tradition, but a way of life passed down through generations. While the reindeer roam free most of the year, they are gathered twice each season for magical sleigh rides that bring joy to young and old alike. At the farm, you'll meet a special group of trained reindeer ready to pull sleds and participate in rides. The caretakers will teach you how to drive a reindeer sleigh – and then comes the highlight: a roughly 1 km ride through a peaceful, enchanting snowy landscape. After the adventure, warm up with tea or coffee and traditional snacks in the cozy warmth of the farm.

Snowmobile Safari (optional)

The same unforgettable snowmobile experience as offered on Day 1 is available again this evening – a perfect repeat or option if you missed it the first night.

Lainio Snow Village – Where Winter Takes Shape

Get ready for a truly special experience! This excursion takes you to a storybook world – a village made entirely of snow and ice, rebuilt every winter with a new theme, new story, and the same captivating magic. From the entrance, you’ll be fascinated by the Ice Hotel, a true ephemeral masterpiece built annually with over 1.5 million kilograms of snow and 300,000 kg of natural ice.

You’ll explore igloo-style rooms, each uniquely designed – a glowing world where everything literally sparkles. The temperature inside stays between -2°C and -5°C, but don’t worry – the atmosphere is warm, and it’s the emotions that heat you up the most! You can sip hot tea at the bar carved from crystal-clear ice, or take a moment of calm in the Ice Chapel – a stunning space where real weddings take place under ice arches and magical lights.

Day 3 – December 24, 2025: A Fairytale Christmas Eve

After breakfast, prepare for a storybook adventure! Today you’ll head out on a 2-hour excursion into an enchanted forest, where you’ll have the joy of meeting Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at their very own cozy cottage.

The coach will drop you off at the edge of the forest, and from there, you’ll continue on foot, along a torch-lit path carefully packed down by forest animals and Santa’s helpful elves. At the end of the trail, the magical hut awaits, where Santa, his wife, and two cheerful elves will greet you with warmth and joy.

You’ll hear stories about their magical life and the preparations in the toy workshop. The little ones will even get to help Santa get the gifts ready… because Christmas is near, and there’s still much to do! Mrs. Claus will show the children how to decorate delicious cookies and create heartfelt cards for Santa. And the little ones, both curious and eager, are sure to sneak a few treats for Rudolph, who’s waiting impatiently beside the cabin with his harness on, ready to take off with Santa on a night full of gifts and magic!

Husky Safari – Fluffy Friends and a Taste of Freedom (included in the package)

Get ready for one of the most beloved experiences in Lapland: a husky sleigh ride through magical scenery and pure, fresh air. After receiving instructions, you’ll travel by coach to the husky camp – a lively place full of wagging tails and eager eyes.

There, you’ll meet the huskies – the true fluffy heroes of the North, always ready for fun and adventure. You’ll learn how to drive a husky sled, what commands they understand, and – most importantly – how they love to be pampered. These dogs are friendly, playful, and absolutely adorable!

Then comes the much-anticipated moment: the actual 2 km safari, a ride through breathtaking landscapes where the snow crunches beneath you and the wind gently kisses your cheeks as your sled glides smoothly through the forest. It’s a feeling of pure freedom – one that’s hard to describe and impossible to forget.

At the end, enjoy a snack and warm fruit juice, followed by a visit to the husky farm, where you can spend some quiet time with your new four-legged friends.

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll head to Rovaniemi, the heart of Lapland and the place where the magic of Christmas lives all year round. Here, you’ll step into Santa Claus Village, located right on the Arctic Circle, where it truly feels like you’ve crossed into a fairytale world. Santa himself awaits you in his office, ready to hear your secrets, wishes, and dreams for an unforgettable Christmas. He’s in no rush – he has all the time in the world for a chat, a photo, and even… an autograph, to remember him by!

You can also visit Santa’s Post Office, where you can send a magical letter to your loved ones. Pick your favorite Christmas card, write from the heart, and drop it into the red mailbox – it will arrive home stamped with Santa’s official Arctic postmark.

Lunch Break at Santa Park – Fuel for More Magic

Enjoy a cheerful lunch at Santa Park, getting ready for the adventures ahead.

Afternoon at Santa Park – Where Elves Come to Life

After lunch, you’ll continue your magical day at Santa Park, the hidden realm of Santa’s elves! Here, children (and adults too!) will experience unforgettable moments:

• Visit Santa’s underground Post Office
• Learn the secrets of beautiful writing at the Calligraphy School
• Take photos in fairytale settings

Snowmobile Safari & Ice Fishing – A Final Nordic Adventure

For those wishing to end the trip with a mix of adrenaline and serenity, this excursion is the perfect choice. You'll set off on a spectacular snowmobile safari, covering a 25 km route that takes you across frozen lakes and through snow-covered forests – a true journey into the heart of Lapland’s wilderness. This is nature at its purest, rawest, and most beautiful.

Upon reaching a frozen lake, nature lovers and those with patience will get the chance to try ice fishing – a time-honored Nordic tradition full of calm and contemplation. And if you don’t catch any fish, no worries – you’ll catch stories and peace of mind. Along the way, a well-deserved break with warm fruit juice will bring smiles to your faces and a touch of warmth to your cheeks.

At the end, you’ll return to the Safari Club House by snowmobile, with your heart full of emotions and your cheeks still rosy from the northern wind.
